Imagine a Win-Win World

Radical Collaboration.

Imagine a world filled with “Radical Collaboration.”

That was just one of many themes during the recent 5-day TED Conference where a chef-activist, a deep sea explorer and street artist explored what that meant to them in their worlds.

What would Radical Collaboration look like in your world?

How would Radical Collaboration change the way you speak or make decisions? How would your relationships change?  And how would radical collaboration change the results you experience?

We know what happens when people become positional and hard-headed.  There’s no room for compromise and the win-lose, “my way or the highway” approach results in bad decisions, poor relationships and can be very costly – emotionally and financially.

Radical Collaboration means mutual benefit, win-win, looking out for the good of the whole.  It’s not just a little give and take.  It’s a radical desire and commitment to collaboration so that everyone wins.

It starts with families, neighbors, in work places and communities…

Imagine a world committed to radical collaboration.  What would that look like?

I think John Lennon had his own definition, which went like this:

“Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one.”

Imagine … Act… Commit.

Please.
